NAMI Walks for Mental Health
NAMI hosts an annual walk to raise awareness for mental health and funds for their programs. The walk is a great way to get involved with the community and show support for those struggling with mental illness. You can participate as an individual or as a team, but regardless of how you participate, the walk is a great way to support those in need.
Twitch Partnership
NAMI has partnered with Twitch, an online streaming platform, to raise awareness for mental health. Streamers have the ability to donate a portion of their earnings to NAMI during Mental Health Awareness Month. This partnership has been a great way to reach a younger audience and help reduce the stigma around mental illness.
Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and NAMI has been working hard to spread awareness through their social media channels. They’ve been posting content every day to help educate their followers on various topics related to mental health. Follow along with their posts and share with your friends and family to help spread the word.
